Bitesize Burns!

26 January 2018, 17:30-19:30
St Mary at Hill, London, EC3M 3BY

On Friday 26 January 2018, the Friends of Voices of London will be hosting an entertaining – we hope! – “Bitesize Burns” in St Mary-at-Hill in the City, from 17:30-19:30. This gorgeous church, in the shadow of the Monument, was Wren’s first. In its wonderful space, host to many super concerts over recent decades, we will enjoy a medley of Burns Supper-themed singing, piping, canapés, and drinks, plus all the usual enchantment – the Selkirk Grace, the Address to the Haggis, the Immortal Memory, the Toast to the Lasses and the the Response, the last three stripped down to three-minute frenzies, encapsulating the best of Burns for the busy City bee.

To claim a pair of free tickets to Bitesize Burns, join one of the Voices of London Friends Circles. Our Friends are an essential part of the Festival, enabling us to bring choirs of all abilities, ages, shapes and sizes to Voices of London.
